Meet Jacky Nicole
I am a Cameroonian-American chef and organic vegetable grower based in the Nation’s Capital.
I am the founder of heimeinu (pronounced HAY may NU), a full service food production— offering catering, event and curation services.
Heimeinu is about bridging the gap between where our food comes from and how we cook it and creating a culinary experience for the curious – a place where senses are heightened, and food is made with a little bit of all of us in mind.
As events curator + grower + lover of whimsical creativity, my aim is to bring an intensity of awareness to private dinners, parties and educational events, creating settings that promote wholistic health for all who attend. That means not only prioritizing the best possible local ingredients, but also cultivating true soul nourishment through beautiful settings, connective activities, and opportunities to contribute to society.
It isn't enough to consider our individual relationships with food and with health – to be truly healthy, we must always consider our relationship to one another.
